Spotify and Starbucks announced an exciting partnership in January 2016 to drive listenership to the music streaming service and allow coffeehouse customers to easily engage with music played at over 7500 store locations worldwide.
Mere weeks after the release of National Park Radio’s debut album The Great Divide (produced by Derek Hames and recorded/mixed by John Shelton of EMG), one of the cuts from the record, “Monochrome,” was placed onto the playlist, exposing the song to millions of listeners worldwide in Starbucks retail locations.
